Jeff “JC” Harrist and Jeremy Young have both been heavily involved with the classic arcade community for many years, such as playing and helping at the US Kong Offs, however their most notable and significant contribution to the scene of which being the creation and maintaining of Donkey Kong Forum (DKF).

DKF is a site where players can post topics, chat in the shoutbox, submit their performances and share their Twitch handles to allow others to view and get to know one another, building and supporting the community around Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Junior, Donkey Kong 3, Crazy Kong and many other variants of this well-known classic arcade series.

By volunteering their time and energy in creating, building, maintaining and moderating the forum, Jeff and Jeremy, through DKF, have contributed to gaming culture on an international level – creating a unique experience that serves as a place of knowledge, encouragement and competition for DK enthusiasts and classic gamers alike, and as such, are very worthy recipients of an ANZAP award in 2021.
