Steve Fawkner is a video game designer and programmer. His strategy game Warlords series received high praise around the world:

Warlords
Computer Gaming World (an American computer gaming magazine: 1981-2006) awarded Warlords (along with Command HQ) ‘Wargames of the Year’ 1991; in 1997, PC Gamer UK, named Warlords as the 67th best computer game ever, citing it as
“one of the most revolutionary multi-player experiences.”

Warlords II
1993 Computer Gaming World in November stated Warlords II’s AI as “one of the finest on the market”; 1993 ‘Best Wargame’ Computer Games Strategy Plus; 1994 ‘Wargame of the Year’ Runner-up – Computer Gaming World
