OBJECTIVES + GOALS

ANZAP’s overall objective is to formally recognize those who have made a noteworthy contribution to the pinball and video game community in Australia and New Zealand. This goal can be categorised into five main areas:

Inform

To deliver publications to members and the community about Australian and New Zealand pinball and video game history that promotes the study, writing and dissemination of Australian and New Zealand pinball and video game history.

Support

To provide services that assist members to deliver and promote their local and community pinball and videogame events.

Resources

To acquire and digitally preserve, for the use of ANZAP and the public, reference material regarding ANZAP inductees.

Advocacy

Inducting and welcoming exemplars of the pinball and video game community in order to propagate the positive pinball and video gaming culture of both Australia and New Zealand.

Governance

To offer a fair and transparent process of the induction decision making. And meet all the legal, financial and statutory obligations of ANZAP and to uphold governance practices that ensure the long-term sustainability of ANZAP.
